Resident Canine Therapy Campaign
Client: Rady Children’s Hospital
Objective: As a graphic designer for Rady Children’s Hospital, I developed a campaign to introduce a canine therapy program at Rady’s. Hospital stays can be stressful for kids, but therapy dogs have been shown to provide comfort, reduce anxiety, and make the environment feel a little more welcoming. My role was to create clear, engaging visuals that highlight the program’s impact and encourage community support. Through thoughtful design, storytelling, and strategic branding, I brought this initiative to life and ensured that more kids can experience the benefits of animal-assisted therapy.

This campaign was all about bold energy, playful charm, and heartwarming connections. The design featured vibrant, high-contrast colors—electric blues, sunshine yellows, and energetic oranges—to capture the joy and excitement therapy dogs brought to kids.
Typography was big, fun, and expressive, using chunky sans-serifs to create a friendly and inviting feel. Imagery elements like paws, cropped pictures of dog features, and playful dog photos personality to the campaign. High-energy compositions used layered shapes, bold drop shadows, and overlapping elements to create a dynamic, modern aesthetic.
This wasn’t just a campaign—it was a celebration of companionship, comfort, and fun. The overall look was eye-catching, warm, and impossible to ignore—just like a happy dog having zoomies in a room!
